Who we are

Flor y Tierra was born from a desire to grow beauty and community during a deeply transformative time. When owner Carolina found herself navigating postpartum depression, flowers became a source of healing, connection, and hope. What began as a personal journey rooted in care and resilience grew into a values-based floral business grounded in love for people, plants, and place.

We believe locally grown flowers should be accessible to all. Our work is deeply connected to community and the land, and we practice sustainable land-tending methods on our micro-farm in Rose City Park. From seed to soil to stem, we are intentional in how we grow, harvest, and design.

Flor y Tierra is a proudly BIPOC-owned business offering LGBTQIA2S+ affirming floral services. We create foam-free arrangements and prioritize environmentally responsible practices that honor the health of our soil, our community, and our future.

At Flor y Tierra, flowers are more than decoration — they are a way to nurture connection, celebrate identity, and cultivate collective care.
